Ramiro Diaz Trepat joined InOrbit in January 2024 as the Head of AI. He has a background in developing category-defining products at both startups and established companies. At InOrbit, he spearheaded the launch of RobOps Copilot, an AI-powered product for advanced data analytics and robot optimization. As CTO, Ramiro focuses on driving growth through innovative product developments and strategic implementations. His expertise and leadership are pivotal to InOrbit’s success in the rapidly evolving robotics and AI industry.
Florian is an accomplished business leader and author, with hands-on experience bringing innovative products to market. As InOrbit’s CEO and co-founder, Florian leads strategy, fundraising and go-to-market activities. He is passionate about raising awareness around the new category of RobOps, sharing his compelling vision for the evolution of robotics and the future of work. He is also a co-founder of the Robot Operations Group, a community-led organization of experts in scaling robot deployments. Florian is an investor, advisor, board member, and mentor to young startup founders.
Advisors
Sarah is a robotics leader with experience working with R&D teams. At Iron Ox, she drives the use of robotics and AI to grow fresh, consistent, and responsibly farmed produce for everyone.
Previously, she was COO of Mayfield Robotics. She has led projects leveraging principles in shared autonomy, human-in-the-loop (HITL) robot control at Bosch and holds a Ph.D from University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Martin co-founded and led Bossa Nova Robotics for over eight years, including the company’s pivot from consumer products to service robots. During his tenure, he has raised over $40M in investment and was instrumental in closing a strategic deal with Walmart. He is currently working with a few lucky start ups and kicking around new ideas.
Jeff is a visionary leader who has lived at the forefront of technology change for 20 years. He led BuildDirect, a technology company that aimed to simplify the building industry, for nearly two decades through the dot-com meltdown, the 2008 financial crisis, and many waves of technological disruption. Jeff is the author of “The Price of Tomorrow".
Pato is an entrepreneur and engineer passionate about data and high performance systems. He is the co-founder and CTO at Split Software, where he’s changing the way software companies release features and add value to customers. He was part of the engineering founding team at RelateIQ (acquired by Salesforce).
Carolyn Bruguera is an attorney in private practice and General Counsel to the Medical Device Manufacturers Association. Previously, she served as VP and General Counsel at R-Squared (acquired by IQVIA), Micrus Endovascular (from its IPO through its acquisition by Johnson & Johnson) and Hansen Medical, manufacturer of robotics for intravascular procedures.
