Gratitude comes in many forms, from the simplest “thank you” to the cashier at the grocery store, to a hand-written note or bouquet of flowers sent to an appreciated colleague on a job well done. In this crazy world of frenzied deadlines, headlines, appointments and endless video conference calls, it’s nice to have some time to sit back to reflect on where we’ve been and where we want to go.
The change of seasons and the beginning of the holidays for many offer a perfect opportunity to express our gratitude to those around us. While in previous years we may have skipped right past this time in our eagerness to get to the mall or begin our Cyber Monday shopping lists, 2020 and all of its insanity has reminded us of thinking about what’s truly important.
Sure, we could have curled into a ball and hidden under a bed for most of the year. But thankfully, most of us didn’t. We took a bad situation and did our best to address it. While we’re still not out of the woods, we think most of us can be proud of how we handled the disruption to our lives.
So we’d like to use this post as a thank you note to those who have helped us in our InOrbit journey so far.
- Thank you, customers and partners of InOrbit, for joining us in our shared vision of automating the world through robotic fleets. We appreciate everything you do for us to help make our platform better, but also to allow us to help you grow in your own robotics journey.
- Thank you to the advisors and employees of InOrbit, the greatest team of colleagues from around the world. Every day, you keep inspiring us to reach further and be the best version of ourselves.
- Thank you to the friends and family members who have put up with us over the past few years as we build this incredible company. Life in a startup is always insane, even more so with what feels like the world collapsing all around us. We wouldn’t be where we are today without your support.
- Thank you, whoever is reading this post, for getting to this part and possibly sharing with others or liking it on LinkedIn or Twitter. Every little bit helps us get our message out there.
- Thank you, Baby Yoda.
- Finally, thank you, robots, for not yet taking over the world. That would have really been a downer to top off the year. Instead, we thank robots and roboticists for helping us make a better life for all of us, whether that’s delivering a holiday package in a fulfillment center, or cleaning and sanitizing a hospital room to keep front-line workers safe.
From everyone here at InOrbit, we thank you for your continued support, and look forward to thanking you even more in the coming weeks and years.
