We're looking for a hands-on Head of Marketing with a knack for tactical execution as well as strategic thinking. Ideal candidates have not just witnessed but actively shaped the growth trajectory of early-stage B2B tech startups. This role is perfect for someone who's been at the forefront of a small, dynamic marketing team, preferably as one of the first two marketing hires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the founder/CEO to define and execute marketing initiatives that align with our vision and business goals.
- Directly lead and implement B2B marketing strategies that drive lead generation as we grow to $10M ARR.
- Hands-on development, experimentation and management of targeted campaigns that feed the sales pipeline.
- Partner with sales to drive opportunities and with the product team to create a seamless customer journey.
- Implement and manage advanced marketing analytics to track performance and inform strategy, including cohort analysis.
- Build and lead a small but efficient marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and results-driven performance.
- Direct involvement in content creation, crafting copy, digital marketing, and community engagement efforts.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with direct involvement in an early-stage B2B tech startup environment.
- Experience as a lead or manager in a small marketing team, particularly in a startup being among the first two marketing hires.
- Proven track record of executing successful, hands-on marketing campaigns.
- Strong skills in digital marketing, analytics, and lead generation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving startup landscape.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
